Several years ago, I created a YouTube channel and uploaded lots of videos that show historical photos from my archive on particular themes ….. coal mining, Manchester, Birmingham, Port Sunlight, football teams and lots more. I can’t actually remember why I did it but it must have seemed like a good idea at the time. Anyway, they are still online and available for you to watch.
More recently, I’ve been uploading videos showing magic lantern slides from my collection ….. photographic, hand painted and mechanical (moving) and, if they tell a story, I recite the ‘reading’ or script.
