A year ago, I had no idea how to write a blog or create a website but a chance meeting with a blogger gave me the confidence to have a go ….. and I did.
It hasn’t quite worked out as I intended. I imagined that it would be a forum for sharing magic lantern related knowledge and expertise but that hasn’t happened. Nevertheless, I’ve enjoyed the writing process, I’ve occasionally moralised and had a moan (and that’s good for the soul, well mine anyway), I’ve had some lovely messages of support, thousands of facebook ‘likes’ and, to my surprise, find that I now have almost two hundred followers. Is that enough to start a cult? I suspect that the characters in the photo below are already in one!
I’m not sure if I’m going to continue in the new year but perhaps blogging is like collecting, perhaps I’m hooked, perhaps I won’t be able to control the urge to sit at my keyboard and waffle!
Thank you for reading my ramblings from time to time. Thank you for your kind words. Thank you to our Victorian ancestors who provided the source material for my medical condition ….. lanternitis. Have a lovely Christmas and New Year holiday.
Cheers!
